Castle House's Restaurant has won many awards over the years. Head Chef Gabor Katona's menus are seasonal, essentially British cooking with an international twist, He is passionate about baking his own bread, rolls and cakes. Most of the vegetables, fruit, herbs, salads and flowers are grown in the extensive kitchen garden on the family's Ballingham Hall farm, and its herd of pedigree Herefords provides some of the meat a true Farm to Fork story here. Herefordshire has a wealth of artisan food and drink producers, most of whom have long-held and established relationships with the hotel and whose names can be found on menus
The Waterside Restaurant Bar is open daily for breakfast, pastries, teas, coffees and drinks. Light lunch is available 12 to 3pm Monday and Tuesday. Lunch and Afternoon Tea (and Tiny Teas) are available from 12pm to 4pm from Wednesday to Saturday. Sunday Lunch is from 12pm to 3pm. Booking recommended to avoid disappointment.
