Threads Through Creation - Leominster Priory
Overview
An extraordinary series of twelve large embroidered panels that re-tell the story of Creation from the book of Genesis. Created by Jacqui Parkinson, it is one of the largest textile art projects by a single artist in the world and has been touring cathedrals in the UK.
Exhibition open daily 10am – 4pm with FREE entry. Please note that because the Priory is a working church some special services may be scheduled at short notice – so please check the website before you visit the exhibition.
The installation forms the centrepiece for a community arts-based festival of exhibitions, concerts and events organised by Priory Arts on behalf of Leominster Priory. Many of the events are free - a full listing can be found on the Priory Arts website, along with how to book tickets.
