
'Space' - Hereford Cathedral

This unique event gives viewers the opportunity to ponder our relationship with the universe through light and sound installations projected onto the stunning architecture. Discover the creation story and the Big Bang within this sacred space and view the final image of Earth as if looking back from space under a galaxy of stars. The ‘Space’ light show is an immersive visual artwork displayed within the cathedral building on four nights from Wednesday 16 October to Saturday 19 October. Visitors are invited to walk through the cathedral and view the visual simulation and accompanying soundtrack. The cathedral shop will be open selling gifts. This event is suitable for all ages, including young children. The route within the cathedral is pram-friendly.
This event has been part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
Admission / Ticket Info:
Tickets cost £9 for adults, £6 for children (3 – 16), and under 3s go free. Admission is at 20-minute entry windows from 6.20pm with last entry at 9pm.
Disabled Access:
The route through the light show is step free and level, however due to the nature of the building, the floor can be uneven in places and the space will be dark, so please take extra care. There are accessible toilet facilities on site.
