Sounds of Mozart and Stadler - Lion Ballroom - Leominster

The Clarino Trio play on modern replicas of early boxwood clarinets and basset horns, aiming to capture the soundworld created by the great classical composers.  The members of the Trio are all experienced and accomplished musicians who specialise in historical performance and musicology.  They have performed widely and appear regularly with leading chamber groups.

The programme, which will be interspersed with readings from Mozart’s letters, consists of Divertimenti by Mozart; movements from Terzetti by Anton Stadler; and arrangements of famous arias from Mozart’s operas, including the Queen of the Night aria from The Magic Flute and Voi che sapete and Non più andrai from The Marriage of Figaro.
