Overview
The ensemble Rococo give a lunchtime concert on period instruments to include music by Telemann, Bach and Handel, as well as the Venetian Domenico Gallo and the French composer Louis-Gabriel Guillemain, one of the most celebrated musicians at the court of Louis XV. Musicians: Jane Charles (baroque flute), Trudie Jordan (baroque violin), Angela Cranmore (viola da gamba), David Brookshaw (keyboard continuo). This is the opening event of the Maund Flood concert Series.
