A fantastic programme of walks from strenuous hill hikes offering spectacular views, ascents of up to 2500ft and a good workout, through to more gentle walks for gardeners, artists, historians and geologists.
Our programme includes visits to welcoming country pubs for local beer and food, as well as talks ans live music.
Highlights include:
- Awesome views from great heights, including Merbach Hill, Hergest Ridge, Hanter Hill & Bradnor Hill
- Walking sections of the legendary Mortimer Trail, Offa's Dyke Path and Herefordshire Trail
- Discovering the 'ghost trees' art trail with the poet, painter and photographer who created it
- Completing the Eight Peaks Challenge
- Learning how to photograph the Super Moon
- Hiking to a remote 16th-century former drovers' inn for dinner, via a waterfall
- Walking in the footsteps of Alfred Watkins who 'discovered' ley lines in the county
- Experiencing walking with poles for the first time i.e. Nordic walking
