FREE Riverside Walk - Led by Walkers Are Welcome - Leominster Priory
Overview
The walk will be led by Pete Blench and Felicity Norman of Walkers are Welcome. There are just 20 places for this walk and tickets are required.
This charming walk takes in more than a mile of the banks of the River Lugg from Leominster, close to its confluence with the River Arrow on the outskirts of Stoke Prior. Approximately 4 miles, mainly flat with moderate hill climb, steps before the railway line crossing, and 10 stiles.
Walkers Are Welcome is a nationwide initiative launched in 2007 to be ‘welcoming to walkers’ and to promote the benefits that walkers contribute to the local economy. Leominster Walkers Are Welcome (WaW) is a team of volunteers representing different local walking and interest groups which seeks to promote walking in the local vicinity to residents and visitors.
