Overview
Borderlines Film Festival is the UK’s largest rural film festival, with close to 300 screenings of the best new international and British cinema.
It is a joyous mix of an event that offers a 16-day immersion in cinema across Herefordshire, Shropshire, Malvern and the Welsh Marches.
Base yourself in Herefordshire to feast on the programme, discovering charming venues in gorgeous places. Ledbury and Hereford are both ideal spots to stay, with easy access to a superb selection of venues.
Highlights for 2025 include:
- See BAFTA winners The Brutalist and Conclave, plus six shortlisted for the Oscars (international feature)
- Watch 24 fabulous previews, available before their UK release
- Explore Mexican Film Noir and dive into themes ranging from rural to comedy
- Catch the festival programmers' favourites, including All We Imagine As Light, Happyend, Memoir of a Snail, Four Mothers, Nickel Boys
- Hear from special guests including actor Christopher Eccleston, production designer Jamie Price and a host of filmmakers
