Big Apple Harvestime

Various Locations around Much Marcle
-

Enjoy this collection of rural events in and around Much Marcle, enabling you to share with us in our tradition of apple growing and cider making. Venues range from Much Marcle Memorial Hall, Westons Cider and Hellens Manor to small artisan makers and growers not always open to the public, such as Lyne Down Organics, Awnells Farm, Avenue Cottage and Gregg's Pit.

There are plenty of opportunities to taste apples, cider and perry and to meet the makers - naturally. And also apple displays to admire and taste, orchards to explore, local foods to try and picnic sites with fabulous views. Plus a programme of walks, talks, music, practical skills - all sorts of activities to discover. You can walk or cycle between many of the venues, and six of them are linked by a tractor and trailer ride.

Admission is free to all venues, other than Hellens where there is a small charge of £2.00 of the gate, children free.
