Late Beltane

Late Beltane

10 May
Artistraw Cider, nr. Hay on Wye

Overview

Join us for our third annual celebration of Beltane! We’re delighted to welcome back wonderful local restaurant The Cider Barn to the orchard who will be serving up seasonal and local street food inspired by the beauty and simplicity of the Herefordshire countryside.

The bar will be stocked with the best locally made drinks available with beer from Lucky 7, natural wine from Black Mountain Vineyard , and gin and tonics from Hay Distillery. We'll also have natural cider from ourselves of course and also a good range of non-alcoholic options.

As if that wasn’t enough, in the evening we’ll also be treated to some wonderful music from ‘The Black Cat String Band’, a group of market gardeners, horse whisperers, off-gridders and land workers playing up beat, danceable Appalachian folk. These multi instrumentalists will be bringing their bright combinations of mandolin, concertina, double bass, violin, guitar, voice and more and are certain to have you up and dancing!

Come and join us around the campfire for a truly memorable Beltane!

Parking is first come, first served at the venue. Alternatively, we are reachable by foot via the Wye Valley Walk- a beautiful stroll direcly across the fields from Hay on Wye that takes around 40mins. Additional un-offical parking may also be available at St. Mary’s Church, Clifford. (///delighted.wicked.hardback).
