Come by and browse our shop for a large range of fabrics, notions, zips and trims! We offer fun creative arts and crafts workshops in our airy and light studio, conveniently located above the shop. From sewing to felting and crochet to embroidery, we have a super range of workshops suitable for both adults and children. You can also hire our studio for private workshops and creative parties – perfect for hen do’s, baby showers, work celebrations and special occasions!

We sell King Cole wools and yarns, perfect for your next knitting or crochet project. We also sell knitting patterns, needles, crochet hooks and notions.

At Make-it Happen we have a repairs and alteration service, from fixing holes to shortening hems we will help you to get your garment just right for you. We can get you ready for your big day, fitting and altering wedding and prom dresses, even professionally steaming your garment ready for collection.

Jackie, our founder, has a background in theatrical costume and 15 years teaching experience, so do be sure to stop by for advice and support with your sewing project. She also runs talks to local group to share her creative past and the beginnings of Make-it Happen. Get in touch to find out more!
