Mad Dogs and Vintage Vans
Ross-on-Wye
Mad Dogs & Vintage Vans is nestled in a wildflower meadow in the grounds of a listed Old Rectory that looks west over the Wye Valley to the Black Mountains. With our big skies and views, sunsets here are spectacular.
A moment’s walk away you’ll find the showershack, campfire and Summer Kitchen located within a pretty piece of woodland. It’s a place that’s full of wonder for kids and adults alike featuring mature trees, dappled light and wildflowers – perfect for building dens, swinging on a tyre and toasting marshmallows. A stay with us is about enjoying the simple things – cooking over a campfire, birdsong and starry nights.
We like to think you will have everything you need for a perfect stay. Monty, Sybil and Gertie feature cosy wood burning stoves and all the vans have vintage quilts, blankets and hot water bottles along with feather duvets and pillows. We are eco friendly and have a deli onsite selling local produce. If you fancy a night off campfire cooking, we can also offer delicious home cooked meals.
The Hayloft (sleeps 6) is located a short walk down the road from the glampsite. A truly original restoration project that fuses the original 19th Century wood timbers and upcycled materials with contemporary interior design.
Sleeping between 2 to 24 guests between the glampsite & Hayloft, we welcome group bookings be they birthday celebrations, family reunions, hen parties or families hooking up.
