5 Star reviews “Fantastic camp-site. It’s a brand new site in July 2020, with sparkling clean facilities, lovely wild grasses, and veg beds scattered around. It’s off-grid, but there are no compromises re hot water etc. The use of their fire-pits is a nice touch too.

Ruth & James are very keen not to overcrowd the site, which is particularly important at the moment, but will ensure a pleasant experience long into the future. Lots of beautiful local walks, and a short drive from the Malvern Hills.” Cooking on a fire-pit is the order of the day and Ruth has lots of recipes that she is happy to share to get you going if you are lacking inspiration.

A very green site with a strong ethos for reducing, re-use and recycle. Lovely, ‘get away from it all’ place with a historic house, local cider makers and pubs within a leg stretch walk (about a mile). The village of Much Marcle itself hosts a list of events each year before you even have to travel more than a mile! Nestling, equidistant between Ledbury, Ross-on-Wye and Newent you have your pick of fantastic historic market towns (with their Market Houses) and the most amazing independent shops.

Very slightly further away you have Hereford (another fantastic Market town), Gloucester and Worcester with their collections of cathedrals, museums and shopping. The Wye Valley is renowned for outdoor activities such as walking, cycling and canoeing.
