Bowens Bed & Breakfast

Award Winning, family operated guesthouse in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  All rooms are en-suite,  with TV, hairdryer, wifi, tea/coffee making facilities and either twin or double beds. All our courtyard rooms are located on the ground floor with direct independent access from the parking area.  Some rooms are accessible to those with mobility issues. Unfortunately, we cannot accept pets.

All rates include full English breakfast made from local bacon, our own free range eggs and sausages. Fruit, cereals and juices, including our own apple juice are also available. We can accommodate special dietary needs with prior notice.

Located approx 20 minutes from Hereford, Ledbury and Ross-on- Wye; Bowens B&B makes an ideal base for exploring the Herefordshire countryside.  Fownhope is located on the banks of the river Wye with several fishing pegs available through the Wye and Usk Passport.  We are a stop for walkers on the Wye Valley Way or cyclists on Lands End to John O'Groats route and can arrange luggage transfer by prior arrangement. There are two pubs, a shop/post office and leisure centre/spa within walking distance.  In the summer, breakfast can be taken in our garden gazebo where guests can also enjoy a picnic or self catered BBQ.  Our large garden provides plenty of space to ensure all guests can maintain social distancing while relaxing in the sunshine.
