Ledbury Poetry Festival
Ledbury Poetry Festival invites you to dive into ten days of ideas, stories, debates, discussions, workshops and music!
The Festival takes place live, in venues throughout the town and out into the beautiful hills, with the greatest poetic voices from around the world from 28th June to 7th July 2024.
- Hear from headliners including Paul Muldoon, Jackie Kay, Liz Berry, Simon Armitage and Imtiaz Dharker, Brian Bilston and Henry Normal
- Explore themes such as politics of motherhood, toxic relationships, class and taste
- Celebrate Benjamin Zephaniah, European poetry, queer Latinx poets and the natural world
- Experience poetry in new ways, alongside wine tasting and creative flower arranging
- Participate in family events, from dance performances and puppet shows to creative writing and author talks
- Attend workshops to inform your writing techniques
- Take to the stage at our slam!
Ledbury is a welcoming historic market town, lined with independent shops and places to eat and drink. It's easy to reach by train or car.
There's also the option to join the Festival online for livestreamed events throughout the ten days with a digital pass.
