Swim Wild Wye

My name is Angela Jones and I am a wild swim specialist based at Symonds Yat West, Ye Old Ferrie Inn & The Old Court Hotel, covering various locations and many miles along the Beautiful River Wye.

I organise numerous small non- competitive swim events all year round, suitable for all abilities & ages. Full details of my venues can be found at my website.

My ‘watery office’ covers over 86 miles of the river Wye where I offer 1k – 15k swims teaching technique and river-reading tuition. Most swims include walking up the bank and swimming back down the river, so you can fully appreciate your surroundings, whilst learning to read the river and learn the all-important safety tips, before taking the plunge.

I also offer Introduction to Wild Swimming sessions for those keen to ‘test the water’, Night Swimming sessions, Cold Water Swimming tuition, Family and Group Swims, Wild Swimming Weekends (and Weeks). Kayaking tuition, Wild Camping, Adventure Days (and Weekends) are also available and can be tailor-made for your own needs and ability. Do feel free to chat through your ideas with me.

I am supported by a friendly, fully qualified and wonderful safety and event team, where necessary, to ensure maximum smiles and safety. I work with people of all ages, stages and abilities - from tiny children to energetic 90-year-olds, and from groups and families to 1-to-1’s.
