The Riverside at Aymestrey is situated deep in the heart of Herefordshire countryside just on the southern edge of the Mortimer Forest, yet still close to Ludlow and Hereford.
Authentic and atmospheric, the 16th century black and white building is surrounded by the natural beauty of the River Lugg valley and is run by award winning chef Andy Link and his team.
The ethos of sustainable food and offering has been developed to showcase the amazing local produce in the region from there own kitchen gardens and orchard to the best artisan local suppliers. Every aspect of the business has been enhanced to be environmentally conscious from food miles to its organic wildflower meadows where the chefs foraged kitchen ingredients.
The inn offers a range of unique boutique rooms from secluded and quirky garden cabins to larger suites blending old historic features with a modern and relaxing style.
The Riverside Inn is idyllically situated on some amazing local walks and heritage sites, from wildlife habitats to the Mortimer Trail walk to a short stroll to National Trusts Croft Castle.
