From springtime foraging and hedgerow medicine to artisan blacksmithing and breadmaking, there's a fantastic selection of artisans ready to share their skills and knowledge. It's also the perfect excuse for a short break in Herefordshire!


Dive into Floral Design
Rozanne Delamore grows more than 400 varieties of seasonal, scented flowers on her artisan flower farm. Attend one of her workshops to learn new skills, from the art of a creating a hand-tied spiral bouquet to DIY sustainable wedding flowers. Tours of the flower farm are also available.

Create an Everlasting Flower Panel
Head to Ledbury for a wonderful morning of flower-weaving. Expert Layla Robinson will be guide you through the process of creating a beautiful flower panel, edged with willow and threaded with layers of everlasting flower stems and grasses, grown in her organic garden. Hosted at the Roger Oates Design Showroom, there will be plentiful colours and textures to inspire your colour combinations.

Hands-on Herbal Medicine-Making
Spend the weekend taking a deep dive into making your own herbal medicine. You will make at least 3 herbal preparations and take away ideas for many more. Held at Rowan’s rural eco home and garden, the course will cover all aspects from identifying, growing, harvesting and drying herbs to making teas, tinctures, infused oils, syrups, inhalations and more.

Spring Foraging
Learn how to identify wild edibles over the course of a 2.5 hour walk Along the way, you’ll pause to enjoy seasonal homemade refreshment, such as hogweed & garlic soup, elderflower champagne or fruit leathers. The event closes with a tasty wild food lunch, made with all the goodies you’ve found on the day.

Master the Potter’s Wheel
Beginners and improvers are equally welcome at Eastnor Pottery’s one-day course. With only 8 places available on each date, all participants will enjoy plenty of individual attention and guidance. The day starts with demonstrations before you have a go on your own personal potter’s wheel.
