The King's Head Hotel

The King's Head Hotel, is an old coaching Inn, with character in spades. In the centre of Ross, a short walk to the theatre, shops, bars and restaurants. Our AA Rosette awarded restaurant is also open to non-residents and is extremely popular in the local area. It features a 62 footwell as its centrepiece and uses fresh market produce. The Kings Bar is popular and has a good range of single malts, wines, 3 local real ales, craft beers and cocktails.

Located on either the first or second floor, all rooms feature a private bathroom, tea and coffee facilities. Free filtered water is also provided along with Arran Aromatic toiletries and free Wi-Fi. There is also free parking and EV charging.

A great location for exploring The Wye Valley, Tintern Abbey and Symonds Yat. Kayaking or fishing on the Wye, cycling in the forest or walking The Wye Valley Walk. The hotel is within a 40-minute drive from Cardiff and Cheltenham. Goodrich Castle, The Forest of Dean and The Welsh Marches, Brecon Beacons, Malvern Hills are also easily accessible for day trips.

The hotel has appeared on Channel 4 Hunted and is regularly used by film crews, including Gone Fishing, Countryfile and Born Mucky.
