Description
Passion for plants and the planet
Preparations are well underway for our wonderful Garden Festival.
This will be our 6th year of bringing wonderful plant stalls and events together with thousands of people in the tranquil setting of Hellens Manor.
We attract more than 2,500 visitors, have over 60 stalls, informative and engaging talks, lovely lunches and teas, ambient music, and imaginative children’s activities.
This year our focus is on resilient gardens – making our gardens beautifully productive and ecologically strong. Our Speakers list is growing: the double-act of Terry Walton and Richard Fishbourne return, as does Patrick Harding (freelance broadcaster, author and expert forager) and Stephen Powell who will report on his Community Forest Farm, and to compliment the much-loved, familiar faces, we have lots of new speakers.
Keep watching the Stallholders’ page on the website – it holds all the stallholders’ contact details; we will be updating this all through the spring and summer.
We hope to see you in the summer – same time, same place, many of the same inspiring stalls and demonstrators, and always something new and wonderful.
