Description
The Three Choirs Festival is an international classical music festival presented in July/August each year by rotation in the cathedral cities of Gloucester, Hereford and Worcester and featuring choral & orchestral music at its exhilarating and uplifting best, in a quintessentially English setting.
Varied and inspiring programmes performed by world-class artists and ensembles to audiences that keep coming back for more. Hereford 2012 marks the start of the Philharmonia Orchestra’s three-year Residency at the Festival, ensuring not only the Orchestra’s presence at Gloucester 2013 and Worcester 2014, but opening up a whole host of supporting activity which will reach beyond the concert platform.
The preliminary programme leaflet can be downloaded from www.3choirs.org. If you have received a brochure or bought tickets within the last three years, you will automatically receive a booking form which will be mailed out on Wednesday, 28th March 2012. The full programme and booking form will be available to download in April 2012 and online booking (with patron’s choice of seats) will open on Thursday, 5th April.
