Mistletoe House
Combe, Presteigne LD8 2HLDescription
Mistletoe House: Tearoom, Gallery and Walled Garden
Mistletoe House is tucked away in the Hindwell Valley on Herefordshire’s north west frontier with Wales. We’re next to a Bronze Age henge and beneath Wapley Hill’s Iron Age hillfort.
The Tearoom offers a range of drinks including 23 speciality leaf teas (with not a teabag in sight!); espresso based coffees; scrummy hot chocolates; cordials, Wye Valley Brewery bottle conditioned beers; Dunkertons cider and perry and European wines.
As for food, you can enjoy cream teas with scones, cakes, soups, quiches, sandwiches, hot food options (Saturday & Sunday 12:30 – 2:30pm) and ice cream. All our food is home made and ingredients are sourced locally wherever possible.
The Gallery, in the old cider barn, is a showcase for the best in arts and crafts from artists and artisans throughout the Welsh Marches – Herefordshire, Shropshire, Powys and beyond. See our website for details and join our mailing list for our exciting Preview Evenings. Whether in our lovely walled cottage garden or snuggled up with our woodburner, you’ll enjoy the Mistletoe House Experience.
At Mistletoe House we have everything from “stocking fillers” to that extra special present of art or jewellery, or why not fill one of our hampers with tearoom goodies? Plus we have a good mix of Christmas and greetings cards.
We’re open up until and including Christmas Eve so when you fancy a trip out for Morning Coffee, lunch or Afternoon Tea, come along and enjoy the warmth of our woodburner in the Cider Barn.
