Queenswood Country Park & Arboretum
Dinmore Hill, Nr. Leominster HR6 0PYDescription
A 67 acre collection of rare and exotic trees, surrounded by a further 100 acres of woodland nature reserve. Features include carpets of spring flowers, wild orchids, spectacular autumn colours, way-marked trails, easy access paths and electric mobility vehicles for hire. Queenswood is an ideal stopping off point on the A49 between Hereford and Leominster where there is a care open daily from 9.30 am to 4.30pm. The park is open 365 days of the year and the Tourist Information Centre and gift shop is open from March until the end of December. There are timber framed buildings, DIY barbecues, children’s play area and a view point with panoramic southerly views.
