Celtic Marches Beverages
Wyer Croft, Bishops Frome, Worcs. WR6 5BSDescription
Let battle commence … or the march begin. Whichever way you look at it, Celtic Marches Beverages are advancing upon new ground with tastes and tipples, each with its own story.
Bloody Furlong Liqueur celebrates King Charles I and his Cavaliers marching upon Cromwell’s Roundheads through Bromyard. A ferocious battle was fought on ‘Bloody Furlong’ which is now one of our apple orchards.
Number Nine Liqueur reflects the Celtic belief that 9 was a sacred number and that apples had magical qualities. The nine hours between dawn and dusk are when the sturdy Celtic crew gather in the apples for our drinks. The Marches was the scene of many battles between Celts and Saxons and detached church towers were built as a refuge from these incursions.
You’ll just have to pour yourself another glass and keep an eye on our website, where you can re-stock your supplies.
