The Barn at Headlands Farm near Dilwyn, adjoining the owners’ cottage, is self-contained within its own garden surroundings, private and secluded. It sits in an elevated position with views over apple orchards and hop-fields with Weobley Church spire in the distance and rolling fields beyond.
The 17thC, 2 bedroom property which sleeps 3, is conveniently situated between the picturesque black and white villages of Dilwyn, Pembridge and Weobley, offering excellent pubs and restaurants.
The location offers a secluded and tranquil setting in its own grounds of four and a half acres, off the beaten track with a wealth of historic interest nearby.
To the west lie Hay-on-Wye, Offa’s Dyke, the Black Mountains, whilst to the north is beautiful Ludlow and the Shropshire Hills. To the east are the Malvern Hills and to the south, The Wye Valley.
The Barn has original exposed timbers throughout with french doors from the triple aspect sittingroom leading to the terrace patio area. The sittingroom has TV, DVD, CD and radio. There is also a cosy dining area and kitchen. Stairs leading to the first floor, double bedroom, triple aspect with super-king bed (can be made up as 2 singles) and also a pretty single bedroom.
