Mocktree Barns consist of five, award-winning character cottages set around a sunny courtyard and located in Mortimer Country, the northern-most part of Herefordshire. The area is rich with a wonderfully fascinating history that stretches from the Ice Age to Harley Street. The quiet villages, rolling fields and woods all have a story to tell.

Mocktree Barn cottages were built 300 years ago from the local limestone and were converted from old farm buildings to provide comfortable and welcoming accommodation. There are glorious views over farmland toward historic Ludlow and the Clee Hills with excellent walks from the door. The courtyard is perfect for al fresco eating with tables and chairs provided. We garden organically and guests are encouraged to enjoy our flower borders and grass areas.  Pets and children welcome. Toys and games provided for all ages.

Weavers and Kit Cottages both sleep 2 and offer single-storey accommodation helpful for our less mobile guests. They open directly onto the flat paved courtyard and there is designated parking 10 yards from the door.  Prices from £255 – £315 pw.  Short breaks from £155.

Kibble Mill is a cosy, two-storey cottage for a couple and is ideal for romantic get-a-ways with a galleried bedroom and furnished with a hint of ‘yesteryear’.  Prices from £255 – £315 pw.  Short breaks from £155.

Stable Cottage accommodates 2 with a king-size double bed and space for a child’s bed / cot.There are wonderful views from this two-storey cottage. It has a beamed open-plan lounge / dining kitchen with an old kitchen range (for decoration only!)  Prices from £290 – £385 pw.  Short breaks from £170.

Jinney Ring is our family cottage and sleeps  up to six, using the comfortable sofa bed in the downstairs lounge / dining area, although best used for a group of four people.  Upstairs it has one double and two single bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine.  Prices from £395 – £495 pw. Short breaks from £235.
