Description
Sleeping up to 8 in four bedrooms, the cottage and garden boast exposed beams, lovely old doors, a cider mill and press.
Accommodation
Ground Floor
The ground floor has been quarry tiled throughout with mats and rugs used in the living areas.
Lounge – features a brick fireplace with a wood burning stove. There are two settees and soft chairs, coffee table and a TV with DVD player. Cosy and warm in winter.
Dining/kitchen: A large table with dining chairs. Electric oven/grill with ceramic four-place hob, microwave oven, dishwasher, toaster, stainless steel sink and fridge/freezer.
Bedroom 1: Leading off the dining/kitchen with two full size single beds, ideal for people who cannot manage stairs.
Shower/utility room – A shower cubicle, WC and wash basin and washing machine.
Games room – access from the front garden, with table tennis table (balls and bats provided). Features a cider press.
First Floor
All upstairs bedrooms have fitted carpets throughout and south facing windows with views towards the Malvern Hills, 10 miles away.
Bedroom 2 – double kingsize bed. Feature fireplace, built-in wardrobe and dressing table

Bedroom 4 – leads off bedroom 3 through a stepped door with two 2’6″ single beds. Combined with bedroom 3, it is ideal for a family.
Bathroom – Bath with power shower, wash basin, shaver point and WC
Outside
The garden is situated along the south side of the cottage and has a flat lawn with flowerbeds and a terraced area. The garden is totally fenced and is hopefully rabbit proof. A barbecue, garden table and chairs are provided. You are welcome to walk through the field below the cottage and out onto Badley Wood Common, ideal for that early morning dog walk.
Places to visit:- The nearest Tourist Information office is at the Heritage Centre in Bromyard. Leaflets and maps are also provided in the cottage. There are numerous paths leading straight from the cottage through fields and common land. Local walks can include Bromyard Downs, Bringsty Common and National Trust woodlands, which all have unrestricted access to walkers. Badley Wood Common borders the property on two sides.
Bromyard – 6 miles. A charming market town with many fine Georgian buildings.
Ledbury – 10 miles. Delightful market town, Elizabethan buildings, cobbled lane and market house.
Worcester – 14 miles. County Cricket ground and Royal Worcester Porcelain factory.
Leominster- 16 miles. Medieval and Tudor flavour, with Georgian terraces, narrow streets famous for antique shops, galleries and markets.
Hereford – 19 miles. Busy market town with Cathedral, Mappa Mundi map and Cider Museum.
Ludlow – 20 miles. A busy market town with Georgian buildings, Castle and river walks.
