Description
You will receive a very friendly welcome at this homely and comfortable, oak-beamed guest house which dates from the 16th century.
It is run by Caroline Anderson whose renowned home cooking and award-winning breakfasts are much complimented – with home-made breads and jams, fresh fruit and squeezed orange juice, local butcher’s sausages and smoked fish. There is always a home-made vegetarian option too.
The pretty, spacious bedrooms have king size or twin beds and en-suite or private bathrooms with a large range of toiletries. There is a walled garden for guests to use and, although Lea House is in the village, it is surrounded by fields, which makes it an ideal place to stay with your dog.
On the Hereford/Gloucester border, adjacent to the Royal Forest of Dean and the spectacular Wye Valley, there is a wealth of activities and wonderful walking. We accept dogs and children. No smoking.
Lea House is also recommended by The Consumers’ Association’s Which? “Good Bed & Breakfast Guide”.
